go to gov.com mental health. com for agencyes that will give you a path way to help
go to a clinic they only charge by income.

find a suicide hotline in your town...they will help talk him thru things
There are many anti-depressant drugs around. Prozac is one and your medical doctor can prescribe it.

Well, you would do best to visit the human/social services office in your communilty! Apply for Medical assistance benefits and see if they could refer you to an aproppriate medical professional.

The best think to do is to save up money for one initial visit to a psychiatrist. Then, if he need to be on a med ask the doctor to put you on something that is on the $4 Walmart prescription list. I think you can get the list on the website. There's something like 400 drugs at Walmart for just $4. Affordable....
Thats so great that you, and most importantly your brother wants to get help. Thats the first step to getting better. He can go to his regular doctor and they will send him to the right doctor that he needs to see. They have all different types of plans so that he can be able to pay. Just help him get in there.
Its a wonderful thing that he has done a self analyst and is aware of need for treatment..there are many programs out there for indigent patients such as himself. A lot of how much would be covered depends on the state that you live in..he may not have to pay little to anything for his treatment. There should some type of crisis line or community help hotline for you to find that info...best wishes and good looking out for your family. God bless.

There are government agencies/hospitals that allow you to get treatment according to your earnings (slide scale), and if you do not have money it should be free.
Check the government pages of the phone book or check online and get on the phone right away. Don't take this easy, it is a serious situation.
I don't know were you are, but inquire about that as soon as possible.
find a free clinic near you. Or he can take valerian root you can buy it at a herbal store and it's supposed to help depression.
