I`m think I`m going crazy...?!

Answers: I see death most of the time. I never have a happy day without something weird and creepy popping in my head. What do you think?

Death is bombarded at us in the form of music, tv shows, news, war, movies, newspapers, radio. In order to really turn it off, you need to stop letting it in. Change how you spend your time, and listen to more uplifting music, read positive books, watch funny movies, skip the news and spend time around positive people. That alone will drastically change your outlook.

For example, Mennonites and Amish are very peaceful people. We have large communities of them nearby, and they are very content in their simpler lives. They are not exposed to all the junk we are, and they tend to see more beauty and love in the world. They enjoy their work, have a personal relationship with God, and feel part of a close community.

We still watch tv, but I have to say, I haven't watched an entire newscast since 9/11. Its just too negative and scary! I read news in papers or internet headlines, but don't immerse myself in it. Instead, I try to do things that bring a more peaceful, positive state of mind...like gardening, rescuing and caring for animals, cooking, working, teaching, playing (non-violent) games, writing, and baking. As a person who had severe depression and a serious anxiety disorder, this has given me a much more normal feel to my days.

That isn't to say I still don't have the occasional morbid or wierd thought...they still pop in and I think that is somewhat normal. But by taking myself out of much of the negative and violent media, I have found a much more peaceful, creative and enjoyable life.

It sounds like you have a good imagination and are creative...find your inner artist or writer and express yourself in natural ways. Part of being a sensitive person is a curse, but really part of it is a blessing, and it can be switched on to a much more fufilling life. Just watch what your surroundings are, make them as comfortable and peaceful as possible, and find like minded friends. If you are hanging around a bunch of sad or violent people, you are more likely to behave and feel the same way. Instead, find someone or something you admire, and create the life you want. Remember the saying, "If its to be, its up to me!" That got me through some very rough times.

Take care.

P.S. If you feel suicidal or the thoughts are racing out of control and you think you might hurt yourself or others, this is a different thing altogether, and you should call your local mental health hotline to talk to a professional. It may be something that can be helped with therapy or medication or both. I have gone that way too, and each thing has helped me live a more normal life.

stop watching scary movies and go to church

It's all the sadness and depression the world is seeing right now. Kids are forced to grow up so fast, exposed to sexuality, crime, and violence in the media and sometimes even in front of their eyes at early ages. Too many unfit, unhappy parents who got married and had children just for the sake of it and not out of love. Too many miserable people in this world. It's hard not to let it rub off on you.

You may be intuitive depending on your visions. Try to meditate or speak to a spiritual figure in your life (may be a relative, nun or priest, etc...), just don't go to anybody with a lot of religious zeal because they'll be quick to cast stones at you.

Or you may need to seek counseling. Either way you should definitely talk to someone. Don't be alone.

i think you should listen to IRON MAIDEN!

seek a therapist and go 2 church. happy blessed new year!!

What do u mean you see death? Do you mean you are having obsessive thoughts about death? Would you elaborate a little...

Here is what i do know..
You are not going crazy! Most people who think they are going crazy are NOT! They just fear it so much, that they tend to obsess over it.
I hope that you do give me some More information so i can help you figure out whats going on.
-Do you recognise that the screams are not real? or do you tend to believe that they are actual people screaming, when in all reality the screams are just in you head? If you recognise that they are not real, then i believe that you must be having some sort of obsessive problem caused by some sort of underlining depression....Not schizophrenia

If youre scared, Mutha *expletive*, go to church!

you're normal.

My dear Lincoln,
You must see a psychoanalyst and develop loving relationships with your family and friends. Spiritualism will of course, be the ultimate answer to all your miseries

ur just special ;)

It may be OCD. You may just have the Obsessive part of it...intrusive thoughts. Google OCD and see if that matches you.
