Find something (like yahoo answers :-) ) to distract yourself.

Takes some deep breathes...by inhaling deep and slow, holding for a couple of seconds and exhaling in a slow, controlled way (I usually use a 6 second inhale, 4 second hold, 8 second exhale). A lot of times people forget about the exhale part.

If you absolutely must act out in a physical way (I am a thrower too, so I totally understand)...I have found to do so with a newspaper can be most satisfying and doesn't break anything.

Hang in there...the rage will pass.

knock it off you spoiled brat!

Punch a teddy bear.

punch your pillow or go outside and scream as loud as you can.

ive been angry like that before, and i did something im going to regret for the rest of my life. dont make the same mistake i did. calm yourself down. avoid doing something your going to regret.

OHHHHHHHH I feel sooooo sorry for you. Grow Up !

Stop, breath and take a break. Why are they saying these things about you? What did you do to deserve this.? I don't know why you want to destroy your stuff, unless you are selfish about money. That stuff cost, you know. Git a grip lady. Tell them you are sorry and will do better. Give them their allowance!!!

watch the infomercials about staving children...and if that dont work I will be glad to smack u

clean up your room ! throwing things...................yeah that'll make your parents see things your way !

It's OK to be angry. Whatever it is that you feel, you have a complete right to feel it, and it's important to honor that. However, there's a difference between emotions and behavior. Maybe it would help to release the physical energy part of your anger by going for a walk, or beating on a pillow, going to somewhere isolated and just screaming (or screaming into a pillow), etc. Anything harmless that you won't regret doing later. If you're throwing around stuffed animals, that's fine. If you're throwing around breakable things, you should try something else. You might end up hurting yourself or someone else.

it happens to me all the time. i just have to think about how they feel and try to see things from their point of view. try to understand them. usually its not just them, its me too.

If I were your mother I would smack the crap outta you!

Go for a walk, and pray to God during your walk. Ask God to give you some relief from your angry feelings and to calm your heart.

Also, you might call a friend and express yourself to them to let off some of the anger energy.

God is real good for helping the hurting parts of our soul. Perhaps as a New Year's resolution you can try to find a Youth Group to join and develop and grow your spiritual relationship with God.

Good luck and God bless.

The power of prayer is amazing. Try it, you will see.

Go jogging until your tired. This will release that excess adrenaline, and calm you down. This behavior can not continue every time someone says something mean to you..So learn how to manage your feelings and deal with this in a more mature manner. You are never weaker than when your angry. When your angry, you have decided that you are a victim. If you are in control of reactions then you don't have to be angry because you are mastering your environment. Now decide, are you a master? or a victim?
Then, put on your sneakers and go jogging until your too tired to have that childish temper tantrum!

lay down and take deep breaths...pick up a pen and either write, or rip up note book paper...something you won't regret doing...like destoying your room...
