How can I control my temper?!

Question: Its all in your head. Really you can will yourself thru anything. When you start to get angry, calm yourself down in your head. Take deep breaths. Nothing you are loosing your temper about is worth it. Someone taught me something once "he who angers you, controls you". You just have to be stronger than your temper. uncontrollable

Try breathing excercises and creative visualization. Dissipating the anger may not solve the problem, but it will give you more leeway to consider your options

medication positive thinking its hard i loose mine alot cots me jobs money etc not woth it

try taking deep breaths and counting down from ten it really works

Go to your room and listen to music; it always helps me :D

well i walk away from the person ,

Well by controlling yourself. I usually just shut up and do and say nothing. I let my anger fade first before replying but sometimes I have to walk away. Counting to ten can be helpful as well as trying to see the other person's side. As long as you focus on your actions and not the other party's you will probably succeed more often than you fail. Take care and have a happy 1st.

Trying to find a phyciatrist who deals with natural remedies rather than drugging you may be a great place to start. The fact that you are aware of your problem and open to resolving it is an excellent and positive big step in the right direction for you and you should be proud of yourself for wanting to improve yourself and thus your life in general, as a person who can control their temper is always nicer to be around then one that cannot or is not even willing to admit they can't.
So hats off to you, you should give yourself a pat on the shoulders. I have known many people to find that vitamins combined with Marine Omega 3 from www.antioxidants.mypharmanex.com to be very helpful. You may want to look into Omega 3 in general. Their omega 3 product has been named best product so you know excellent pure quality is there - and Omega 3 overall has a reputation for healthy brain function. Maybe something is just a little off in your body's balance. Sometimes women in their late 30's also go through some temper control issues - so don't worry its not just you young fold. Sometimes it is even in conjunction with growing, hormones etc etc.Just sharing some ideas, good luck.

Try deep breathing exercises. Also you have taken first step to controlling your temper by recognising you have a problem.
Try and think about what is causing you to feel anger. If you recognise this it will help you to control how you feel.
Good luck

There's an old adage -- count to 10 before you open your mouth.

relize that you are not the top of the food chain, far from it

You can take some anger management classes and learn to control yourself better. They will show you how to do that. Good luck.

There are some really great workbooks available at Amazon. I got three for my daughter and her boyfriend. Some are for you to do by yourself, others you can do with your partner, if you have one.

Get exercise!! Every day, especially try to do something with your upper arms. Skip rope, chop wood, use a punching bag, do kick-boxing or tai-bo. You have to get the anger chemicals out of your muscles (they get stored there) so you can feel better.

Learn to breathe. When we get angry, we tense up and hold our breath, or breathe shallowly. By paying attention to your breath when you are angry, and breathing deeply and consciously, you change the anger chemicals that your body is releasing into calming chemicals. Eventually, breathing can help you not get angry in the first place.

Write in a journal, along with the workbook. If you're really angry, write LOUD! Then rip up the pages and stomp on them and burn them.

Best of luck.
