Question: My 16yo daughter takes Risperdal 2mg three times daily for behavior associated with fetal Alcohol Symdrome. She complains about seeing faces in the dark. She also complains of a constant headache. Does anyone have knowledgde of these symtoms associated with Risperdal? I appreciate any help.

My daughter too, saw faces in the dark, and complained of a constant headache.
Her Dr prescribed Haldol and Paxil. Sorry, I am not familiar with Resperdal.

Speak with a pharmacist or a Dr.

Headaches are a common side effect.
Seeing faces, however is not. Hallucinations have been reported, but it is not a common side effect.
This is not normal, and this medication is probably not right for your daughter. Talk to your doctor ASAP.
