Question: If a person's "crazy," provided he or she is not harmful towards other people or him/herself, he or she should be allowed to live as productive and happy a life as possible (with a friend or family). They have a right to it too! The nice thing about treatments nowadays is that they can be done in out-patient clinics or with personal psychiatrists, et cetera.
If a person's harmful towards other people though, then they should be kept away from the general population. If a person's harmful towards him or herself, provided they're never alone and never around children, it should be fine!
And of course, ALWAYS take your medication!

that its crazy to be crazy
It use to be a pretty good gig. You would do some crazy thing in public, not something violent but something which disturbs the peace a bit. The cops show up and you plead insanity at your hearing. Then the government gives you counseling and crazy pay. Now the crazy train has hit the skids and crazy pay is harder to get than a nun on easter morning.

I think it must suck to be CRAZY, because being CRAZY is entirely misunderstood by non CRAZY people, who have never had to go through the torments and traumas that come from being a CRAZY person.
The worst of this offenses is the fact that people still continue to call people CRAZY instead of mentally ill, and assume the social stigma that CRAZY implies. Being CRAZY is to suffer not only from your mind, but from the people you know, and the people who know you are CRAZY. They cannot understand why they're are more than two people in your body, you're just CRAZY. They cannot understand how you can be happy one minute, and so depressed another, you're just CRAZY. They cannot understand why you do the things you do, or the things you don't do, or why you have to do them each exactly 12 times before you are satisfied, you are just CRAZY.
And the worst thing about being CRAZY, is people not knowing how to spell it.
