Ok, public anxiety Question, Please read whole question?!

Question: I have public anxiety, or im really super shy, whichever way you put it, it really effects me, i dont want to get out and go in stores, not because of lazyness or anything, just because i couldnt stand walking in and thinking why are these people looking at me, and getting light headed and red in the face, I wont even go in a resturaunt and eat unless i have too, what i want to know is, how can i get over it, i mean i know theres no miricle cure, and i know anxiety is a natural defense and all, but is there any way to dim it down or out, i have tried all kinds of medicane and even 3MGs of lorazapam a day, nothing helps, i would try to talk to a psycholigist but that would cost money i dont have cause i cant handle a job, i wanna be like my aunt jan was and how my aunt debbie is and most other people i know.i want to be able to go out in public and just not think, "oh god these people must be staring at me, whats wrong with me" if anyone has any idea what can help me please answer thanx

I also saw your other related question here and supplied an answer to that. To answer this specific issue - the reason you get red-faced and flustered when you meet people is because just before you encounter them you anticipate the reaction you will have so that when you do meet them, you will follow up with that expectation.
You need to control your thinking and decide that you won't react like that beforehand and you won't when the time comes. It takes some time, but it will work.

okey first off i locked myself in my home for 6 mouths never leaving.so i know how you fell.yes there is life out three an you can learn to live a gain.the meds your on are good an now you have to do the work .ever day go out go to the places that make you fell like your going to go crazy. time your self. each time go a little longer take your time.there maybe days you just have to leave but .don't give up you will always have anxiety .but you can learn to live with it

Take control of anxiety and get on with life. Some anxiety is normal - but it shouldn't interfere with your ability to function. According to research or other evidence, the following self-care steps may be helpful:
