Would YOU prefer to live in Pennsylvania or Ontario, and Why?!

Question: Ontario in a second:
1. Its in Canada - National Health Care and a more humanistic society in general
2. Culture - Toronto has better Opera (now) as opposed to Philadelphia or Pittsburgh
3. Safety - Even though lots of people in Ontario have guns they don't seem to be into killing each other as they do in Pennsylvania.
4. Ontario has great Junior Hockey

I live in New York - if I had to move Toronto would be my top North American choice. Pennsylvania would not even be on my list.

Ontario!!! Canada rocks!!! GO LEAFS!

Ontario, simply because it's in Canada, where education, health care, quality of life generally is better and the Prime Minister is at least sane.

I've lived in both. Western PA is better than Ontario for many reasons. Go Pens!

Pa. and the leafs are a joke this yr go rags

Ontario. But I guess I'm biased because I'm a Canadian who LIVES in Ontario (and loooves it!)

I like Ontario a whole lot more than Pennsylvania. But both sadly invade New York where I am from and drive us nuts. Pennsylvania is definatley not up there on the best places to live though. New Jersey is looking better than Pennyslvania.

But I love Ontario. I get to go a lot and spend summers at Lake Charleston. Love that place!

ontario

not to sure i live down in the south part of the U.S.A.
where it does get cold

I live in northwestern Ohio and border both on PA and Lake Erie. Given ONLY the choice of this question, I would opt for Ontario, even though I pass through PA going back to visit family in NJ where I used to live. I never liked LIVING in PA, although I did own a timeshare there for 25 years.

Hi Suzi. Well to be honest, neither, Firstly, its s long way to drive to work and secondly, I am an Englishman living on the south coast of France alongside the Mediterranean sea. In a great city called Montpellier. I get 325 days of sunshine, (Which starts in January and last until late october) temperatures up to 42c and as low as 20c. It only rains in late August and every now and then, we get a little snow for Christmas. In Montpellier's city I can walk around late at night and feel safe, even women walk alone on the dark nights without fear. Most of the shop have the original facades dated back to the 1400's when the Jews came over and started a medicine school. Montpellier has some of the best academic institutions for medical rechearch in the world. Of course like all major cities we have are trouble spots, but these are generally in the districts of those who's gender shall be nameless. but on the whole it is a great city to be in and not far from the mountains for skiing in the winter. Best wishes. Peter
