When will my friend be back in school from a suicide attempt?!
Question: we're in high school. i just found out my friend tried suicide on monday morning. when will she be back in school? i just want to give her a hug and let her know everything will be okay.. but would feel out of place calling her family or visiting her in the hospital or something like that. we're in NH if that makes a difference.

how can you set a time to that? "OH USUALLY THEY'RE BACK IN 5-7 DAYS." its a very personal thing. the truth is she may not GO back. some people take time off after crap like that. there is no deadline or timeline for this sort of stuff
I think the best thing you could do is go to the hospital and just sit down and talk with her, no matter how akward it may feel, pray to God for strength and go help your friend in her time of need.

seriously, tell your friend to quit being selfish and wake up. if your friend did commit suicde all their loved ones will be forever scarred. If you believe in yourself, if you love anyting in this world if you even are worth breathing, suicide should not be on anyones mind. God can deliver through all circumstances, those things which are unseen are eternal. those you see can be burned through fire and will be gone forever.
