Will 10mg. of Ambien put you too sleep?!
Question: Was just prescribed this medecine since i have had trouble sleeping the past two days, i tend to be worrier. I have read all the negative and positive things about Ambien but will the 10mg really put me to sleep ?

It depends how your body takes it. 10 mg is enough for me while 5 mg wouldn't do anything. Try 10 mg first. If you still have trouble sleeping talk to your doc. Ambien is not a drug that you want to take for a long time.
Knocks me out cold. 5 MG is better for me. When I have taken 10mg i suffer from amnesia the next day. I literally cannot recall anything fromt he previous night, and I sleep walk.
I take half that when needed. I have to lay down right away. Very peaceful sleep. ?
Ambien needs to be taken right before going to bed so what does that tell you...kara

yes but make sure to go to bed right away after taking it
