I am on Depakote (an anti-epilepsy drug) and I am a severe insomniac. I am on 9 mg of melatonin, 0.5 mg prazosin and 50 mg of phenergen a night. Those are enough tranquilisers to knock out a horse! I would recommend melatonin - it's a natural substance substance in the body so it won't do you any harm. Hope this helps.

Try benadryll (diphenhydramine)

Try a warm glass of milk with a 1 full table-spoon of honey, it really helps.

If you already have a doctor who is giving you drugs to help control your epilepsy im sure he wouldn't mind letting you try a sleep aid like ambien or lunesta, which saved my life pretty much. I was told to only take them for a couple weeks, but they helped me get back in a healthy cycle.

Cannabis is the natural cure. You should stop taking government drugs.

Give nature a chance,
