Is there a connection between guilt and stress?!

Question: If so, can you suggest treatment?

Answers: If so, can you suggest treatment?

Guilt is a result of thinking about the past.
Stress is a result of resisting life. It may be you resist the past.

Treatment for guilt involves that you stop digging up the dead past and shocking it with lightning so that it lives again.

Treatment for stress involves surrendering the resistance you have to what is or what was or what will be.

That may sound complicated, but it's fairly simple. Though not necessarily.... easy.

I recommend accepting what is. And this will help you enjoy this moment, so as not to look to the past, so much.

Yes, there is a connection. I can not suggest anything unless I know why you are asking this. I can tell you that when people feel extremely guilty they do not perform normally which causes stressful situations. The bestthin is to talk to someone to resolve the guilt and get back to a functional lifestyle.

Yes! Not knowing the circumstances, it is hard to advise you. Sometimes, owning up to what you are guilty about brings great relief and a resultant release of stress. In other words, you feel good by admiting your wrongdoing.

yes, guilt will cause you to stress........try to reduce ur guilt however best suits you.......i used to stress alot due to guilt, but it was excessive and irrational.....i just had to pound it into my head that there are certain things, like the past, that i cant change and just have to deal with what i have in front of me...the only thing i can control is how i react to situations and the like....
