Mom Problems?!
Question: Does anyone else have an unstable mom who makes family life hell? My mom is just a friggin nightmare and I'm starting to think she's literally mentally ill -- she IS Livia Soprano.

My mother is pretty bad too. She is bipolar, and when she doesn't take her meds (or isn't regular with them) she is just a nightmare. I can't even be around her, nobody can. Even on the meds she is evil, but off them...it is horrible.
Perhaps your mother does have a mental illness. I think they are a lot more common than people realize.

no, my husbands mom is bipolar also. he hasn't seen her (by choice) since 1984. he was 17.
my friend told me that her mom is a psychotic woman before, that was when she was young, she and her mom are not in good terms right now, my friend was a product of a broken family, she haven't heard from her father anymore after he left her mom. her mom now has a new boy friend.
so i think you're not alone,. but you know what, eventhough my friend is in a bad situation right now, she still tries her best to have a good relationship with her mom. you only have one mom in this world and always remember she love you no matter what

no sweetie,,, mum is a nightmare too,,, i thaught many times of parricide but i couldnt ONLY 4 da sake of ma lil sister who she loves her... im hit, insulted from her every not day but every hour... she neva calls me by ma name... dad is away n i cant tell anyone o wat she cozes me... evn ma friends coz i feel ashamed.... ive bn self injuring 4 three yrs, n having depression lately all bcoz of ma mom, who i HAV to respect n bla blqa bla ....(crying)
You may need to seek family counseling.....Mom may be going through some things that needs to be addressed.....has a change in the family recently occured?
Please ....you only have one mom and without her you wouldnt be here, so take care of her especially if she is mentally ill.
