No. You have to deal with it. I tried to ignore it, but it catches up with you. You need to get a referral to a psychologist or psychiatrist and start counseling. From there they can prescribe medication relative to your needs. I did and it has been amazing. I was very skeptical, especially due to the controversy tied with medication, and I therefore put it off for a few years, which I regret. In the meantime, talk to some good friends and/or IM/email; friends can be great resources if they're open-minded and true to you! I wish you all the best.

No, silly, you get treatment, and the sooner, the better. See your family doctor first and, if you need to talk to a therapist, s/he can refer you to a good one.

its no fun to be depressed all the time. i would see a psychiatrist of a phychologist and so u can talk to someone or they can put you on a medicaiton and you won't feel so depressed. don't ignore it. life is hard enough when we're not depressed so when you are depressed its just way too painful.

This may be do to a chemical imbalance in the brain which means you need antidepressant and ignoring it won't help but may make it worse. You may also need counseling. I hope you get better. No one should have to live with depression!
