Question: Why do I feel ashamed after I get beat? Why do I feel like I want to hide from everything? I will even cover my face up. I feel like I want to go lock myself in a room forever and never come out. When it happens in public 'the yelling, the screaming and the embarrassment' I feel ashamed. normal to feel that way after or during abuse?
