If you're lying in bed trying to get to sleep, and can't, it kind of feeds on itself. You know you need sleep, and you aren't getting it, so you start to stress a little bit.

So distract yourself. Turn the TV on on low volume, and watch it until your eyes get tired. Or turn on some soft music. Sleep timers are beautiful.

you are not in the U.S. are you?

umm count sheep or just pretend to sleep like close ur eyes. and think of sleeping. idk it works for me.

Relax yourself meditate a little. Listen to calming music and just drift into unconsciousness. Relax one body part at a time.

I have the same problem, if its a tossing and turning type thing and your legs feel like the problem you might have RLS (restless leg syndrome...sounds fake but not). quick tips without medicine: walk up and down a flight of stairs or stretching your legs usually helps. good luck!

grab something that has diphenhydramiine in it . (sleepy time all the big ones have it... it is an antihistamine and will put you right out. u should have it at home its over the counter. diphenhydramine... any med that says sleep on it has it. check the doseage.
50mg in will get you to sleep in 20 mins..
you may be groggy after only 4 hours sleeping but it does the job!
