Memory Loss at a very early age?!

Question: I am 22 years old and I would be lucky if I could tell you what I had to eat for lunch yesterday. I have had some traumatic experiences in my childhood, which I'm sure plays a role, but I have very few childhood memories. I can't remember anything before age 10, and 10 up is hard for me to remember as well. This question is somewhat related to the one about reality v's dreamland. There are so many times when I honestly can't remember if it happened, or if I dreamed it. So, people I am at a loss here. There are things I would like to remember, I would like to remember my dad before he died, who my first grade teacher was, just small petty stuff, but important to me. So if anyone has memory problems or knows what I can do to . I have tried hypnotherapy, that didn't work. Thanks in advance.

My best friend have thee same problem, she is 19 and she can't remember any thing before the 4'th grade. She forget things so easily (the only good thing is that i can tell her stories about my life over and over and always it's new for her). She been practicing to remember stuff and her memory improved a little but not much. She considering hypnotherapy but now after you mentioned it didn't helped...
Try to speak with your relative, ask them about stuff you done when you was little, see childhood pictures, visit places you been too. Try to keep a diary and practicing your memory...
