Pretty girl's best friend?!
Question: since grade school till high school,i've always been the pretty girl's best friend. it's not like i purposly hang with them to be "popular" or anyhting,it just so happens that my best friend is always the pretty girl.evryone wants to be friends with the pretty one,not the sidekick.my self esteem is getting lower bcz of this although i try not to show it.my fren isn;t selfish or anything.she's actually really sweet.i used to be very outgoing,but i have bcome silent and shy.bcz of this,ppl think i am always very angry or fierce and they daren't talk to me.

I've been through this, and I had to overcome it as well. it's just our luck all of our best friends happen to be gorgeous, right? instead of thinking of yourself as her sidekick, try thinking of yourself as her GO- to Girl. when the pretty girl has a problem, she knows your there. it's like the big sister tactic. and remember, get up everyday and look in the mirror, because You were made to be beautiful in your own way. boost your confidence by being unique... dance in the rain, sing in the shower, jump on the bed. sometimes just doing something that makes you Happy makes all the difference in your self esteem.
and remember... the friendlier you are to people around you, the more beautiful you soul becomes.

Tell your friend that you admire her style and taste in hair and makeup and have her help you make yourself over so you can both be "the pretty one."
r are probably pretty but don't have the confidence to realize it!
