Yeah, it's normal thinking. And being lower or higher in the food chain is just a perception. Nobody is better than you, so just think more like that. If people are bullying you, then tell them off, explode, do something to let them know that you will stand up for yourself.

Try this, go take a long walk in the park, especially if that park has a lake with water fowl (ducks, geese) and sit there for a spell absorbing the peacefulness and the tranquility of the moment.

Put all your fears and worries aside, stretch out on a park bench and after taking a deep breath and exhaling, close your eyes and listen to nature's peaceful songs of harmony and after a couple of hours of doing this, go back home.

Try to do this everytime you get a panic attack, go to the park, or take a walk around the block a few times, greet the strangers you meet with a smile and a wave of your hand, and keep going. Always try to keep a song in your heart, no matter how depressed you feel, and a smile on your lips and in your eyes, and you'll be able to handle anything that comes your way, Okay?

To answer your question, No this is not normal behavior, and if you do blow up and do something you will regret later, you might also find yourself being told by a medical doctor to go sit in the corner of a round room.

it is normal to feel low at times but if you continue to feel in such manner i advise you to seek help and posting this question is a good start to letting the blow out before you explode weldone take it further and seek help from a proffessional dont worry you will feel emotionally better soon
