Question: Its obvious this girl has got serious mental health problems, why hasn't she been sectioned. Instead she's just in and out of rehab making her own desicions about her condition. what are your views on this.

I feel so sorry for her and yes something needs to be done. I think it's so sad that her family have all turned against her so publicly when she so clearly needs their support.
I have and still am suffering depression and spent this Xmas in hospital as I took an overdose (It's only that I was sick and for my switched on friends that I'm still alive) and people who have never suffered a mental illness have little right to comment.
If someone has cancer then they get all the sympathy that should be given. But at soon as it's mental illness people think it's ok to ridicule and laugh about it.
Very sad.
Well...you have to REALLY go potty to get sectioned...a few drunk driving episodes, flashing your bits and cutting your hair wont do it....you have to see aliens...or try and hurt people!
I think she is desperate...probably deppressed and addicted to various things....I think if that were me that my family would reign me in....she seems to have been left to it on her own with no intervention.
Do they section people in the states? Money/celeb status mite have summat to do with it to.
i dont think it is for anybody to pass judgement on, we are not aware what happened that night .. im sure if somebody was to take my children offa me they would consider me need a straight jacket, as i would go mental ..
give her a break, support & help not attack & biatch at her .. whatever happened to human kindness - died with jealousy then did it ?
issues must stem from her & her sisters childhood...maybe they need to go to family counseling?
Personally, i feel sorry for the poor woman.
She has had to grow up very quickly, due to becomming very famous very young. Her mum has always controlled her from an early age, and its only normal for her to want to rebel, like the whole getting married thing to that alexander bloke, the 1st time round..she wanted to escape. She never had the chance to go through the whole teenage rebellion thing, so she did it a bit later.
Then she met k-fed, and i think that she just felt lonely, and he was someone who was there for her, and he milked her for every penny.
Then she got pregnant, and had her 1st child, and i think that she was sufferring with post natal depression, and still is probably.
What doesnt help though, is the media constantly saying what a terrible mum she is, how fat she is, how she has no chance of a comeback..the poor woman, no wonder she has mental health problems!!
Why doesnt everyone just leave her alone.?

It is really sad. She is obviously having a crisis and her kids are getting caught in the crossfire.
You have to side with the judge- if she is not clean she doesn not get the children. Her ex seems to be getting less bad press than he was. I think it is a really sad, really modern story.
she needs help not being sectioned - her family are no good for her and where are her real friends -
well, i agree that she definitely needs some sort of structured help, not just her deciding that she want's to spend half a day in rehab every now and again. But i don't know if she could be sectioned - she isn't really a threat to anyone at the moment, and she can afford the best lawyers, who i doubt would let her be sectioned, at least without a long fight against it.
But yes, she needs help.

shes not really crazy-the main issue as to why this is so bad is that she has kids.
when you think about it, she doesnt do much more than some other celebs in terms of her lifestyle; the reason it gets more press coverage is because she is also fighting for custody of her kids.
she needs to seek treatment though, for the sake of her kids.
