How do you know when zoloft stops working?!


Question: will i start to get panick attacks again...its been going on for the past week..and zoloft helped for 2 yrs but now i keep getting them...i feel tenseness in my shoulders...short of breath..and worry about small things..i also have repetive thoughts i cant control that make me even more panicky..i feel like i want to cry all the time but for no reason..i just feel like i have this lump in my throat...please help?

Unfortunately, it is not all that uncommon for psych meds to stop working over time. Since your symptoms are returning, it is probably time to talk to your doctor about switching to a new medication.
The good thing is that it did work for you for a while. Some people just don't respond to meds much, making treatment very difficult.

Dude--that stuff will kill you, if you want to be anti-depressed smoke a big ol hooter.
