Problems with re-occuring nightmares!/Talking in my sleep Any ideas??!

Question: Quite often i have terrible re occuring nightmares,i find my myself battling to wake up so i can end it.But as soon as i fall back asleep i fall into the SAME nightmare!Apparentlly while this happens i talk loudly in my sleep generally shouting loud for about 30 mins!Theres not a great deal i can actually re collect from the nighmares at the minute but as soon as i wake i remember it.Im generally fighting people and trying to save people in some bizzarre role playing nightmare-but its always the same thing.Been going on the like this for well over a year now.The embarrassing thing about it all is im so scared by it at the time, the only way i can stop from going back into it is by putting the light on!Im 27 years old so that seems very strange to the people im living with.My brother died 4 years ago in tragic circumstance,i was with him at the time.So i wonder if there is an after life or something or wotever u believe in-is he trying to contact me??Or am i crazy??!!

Call me crazy Paul but someone in your past is trying to tell you something about your past. I am one of those people that get dreams from people from beyond ya know? I think its some sort of psychic thing. Some of my family members are psychic and I'm starting to turn into one, the dream you are having is from your past life and someone from the other side is trying to tell you something it could possibly be your spirit guard. If you want to talk more my email is puttytat6969@yahoo.com

get the negative things first away , and pray before sleep.

Get a shock collar, so when and if you talk in your sleep you get shocked.

Your in alot of stress. Their's something in your life you cant let go or thats worrying you still.

Plenty of people are terrified at night due to dreams and sleep with the lights on. Maybe you should contact a hypnotist maybe they can dig into what is going on.

Ooh ! if your asleep close your eyes , then re open them , well thats what i do if i have a nightmare , kinda like , know your asleep and then open / rub your eyes and it should wake you up !

I'm 31 and have nightmares and have to have some light around cant sleep in total dark my anti depressants help a lot

I Think you should see a proffessional.
if you are having the same dream for almost an entire year,
there is very deep subconcoius conflict.
Get a therapist and tell him/her about the dream
maybe keep a recorder next to your bed, and as soon as you wake up record what you reemmber about the dream.
You supposdly lose 90% of memory about a dream in only 10 minutes.

stop playing WOW before going to sleep

your not crazy i promise it just means that your either not letting go of something ad as for your brother contacting theory well think about the dream and try and figure out what it means for help with that type in "What a dream means" into a search bar and you should find something that'll help you figure out the dreams meaning

Seek help from a sleep therapy unit or contact your doctor and get some advise on who to go to/what to do .

Im sure it will be easily sorted out

im so srry bout your bro but maybe u are still heavily greiving, go see a shrink or drink milk b4 bed or some other remedy. no tv b4 bed cause i had terrible nightmares 2 oh by the way maybe go to a hypnotizer person. good luck

first of all, I would like to say I am very sorry to hear you are having re-occuring nightmares.
I had the same for many years, until I received help.
An old red indian lady suggested I wrote down ,and made pictured of my bad dreams until I had nothing more to write or draw, and paint.
I did this for about threemonths, and discovered I had been olding onto things, and not sharing them.
I began sharin more openly with my family and friends, and after a little time found who Im was most comfortable sharing with.
I am no longer obsessed with that bad dream anymore.

When i was little i used to have a re-occurring nightmare that a witch would put me in a match box and throw me down the stairs. V odd i know, but i would always wake up at the top of my parents staircase (sleep walking). I grew out of that but now every night i talk in my sleep, which is a great annoyance to my bf.

Anyway back to your question if he was trying to contact you I'm sure he wouldn't want you to feel bad because of it, Maybe its just stress and probably something that'll pass in time.

you better consult a psychologist

I think dreams usually reflect real life in a weird way...I myself suffer from nightmares... I think you are dreaming of saving ppl because your brother was unable to be saved, maybe you feel guilty for that. Maybe talking to someone professional or friend about what happened and how you feel about it will help with the nightmares, good luck x
