"Feeling sad every once in a while is natural. Maybe you didn't get something you really wanted. Maybe you miss somebody. Maybe somebody you really like doesn't want to be friends, and you don't feel so great about yourself. Maybe an illness or condition gets in the way of doing some things you want to do or makes you different from your friends. There are lots of reasons that people feel sadness.

Most of the time, sadness is because of a loss or separation, a difficult change or disappointment about something, or relationship problems."

Hormone imbalance could be the answer if your a teenager or older woman, go check things out with a doctor.

It is normal. We all get like this from time to time. But if you notice it begins to happen more often or seems more severe then usual speak with your doctor.

I feel like that every damn day of my life :(

all i can say is, don't feel sad, because there are other people out there (including me) who feel the same way.

try hanging out with friends more and smoking weed lol i dont know i feel happy all the time.

I AM FEELING THE SAME WAY, BUT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TO ME EITHER---MAYBE IT'S NORMAL AROUND THE AGES OF 13-16 OR SOMETHING OR MAYBE IT'S JUST BECAUSE I'M ON MY PERIOD. I BELIEVE IT DEPENDS ON YOUR AGE AND IF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH "THAT STAGE" OR NOT---AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT PUBERTY.

If there is NO outside "thing" causing this sadness then right now say to yourself...
"Self today I choose to be happy" do this 3x a day like (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) you will see it REALLY works...
Happiness is a choice, so make that choice to be happy...

Wishing you a life of happiness...

It can be your age, because growing up can change your brain chemistry, as well as playing havok with your hormones. If you are in the northern hemisphere there have been discoveries that we are all not getting enough vitamin D. Dr. Oz was talking on Oprah about a month ago about this. The amount we need is alot! So research and get enough D and a multi-vitamins. In addition, if you are sad, it is a time when you can instantly take control by simply being grateful, and run through your mind all the many many things that are right and good.
It is improtant for everyone to release the past and move forward, maybe it is time for you to start something new, or change-up your routine...just make a decision right now to be happy, stay in the moment of now, and allow yourself to experience happiness...whenever you drift into thoughts of the past understand that it is gone, and when you think about the future, understand that it is not reality. Right now is what counts, so make a decision and start being grateful for everything...

it is probably depression i would say go see a doctor

I believe it is normal. Human beings are meant to feel all sorts of emotions. We just have to have hope to overcome them and not over react and be theatrical and hysterical with it.

It will pass. I feel those things too.
Just keep loving yourself, exercise to release good hormones in your brain.
