Question: I feel I need to talk to a councillor. Does anyone know of a free online counillor? Is anybody here a councillor? I think I may have depression! Somebody help!

I don't know if it's a good idea to trust someone online. be sure you check their credentials if you find an online counselor. If you check yahoo groups there are support groups for depression.
I am not a counselor but I have a psych degree and experience. If you email me I might be able to point you in the right direction. There are places in most towns that do counseling for free if you can't pay. Easter Seals has programs like this.

I don't recommend free online counseling for something like depression. You can not know the quality of information received online. I would recommend talking with your personal physician and they can point you in the right direction for any help you may need.
