I have had panic/anxiety attacks since 1995 and currently take Zoloft and BuSpar to keep them under control. After an attack, I am just drained for a couple of days. Even though the anxiety/panic/depression is in your brain, it affects your whole body. Your muscles tense up and your brain goes into over-drive. I highly recommend finding a doctor who understands your symptoms and they can put you on medication that will get your life back. There is no need to suffer when there IS help. Your's could possibly be something that short term medication could help. Mine, on the other hand, is a chemical imbalance that will be with me the rest of my life. Much luck on this!

yes it can...b/c you waste a lot of energy thinking about things...then when you need it you can't get things done.

Yes, you have so much anxiety which causes adrenaline production to go into overdrive. It is like a drug high, at some point you have to crash.

Talk to your doctor about this. There are many mild anxiety drugs available that can help you.
