Testing for ADD..contact your insurace company and find out how much they will cover on your tests
Ask yourself this... Do you really have ADD? Is somebody telling you this? Can you pay attention to something you like for long periods of time, such as a video game or reading what you like to read? If you can, you already passed, you don't have ADD. Most people on medication for it do not have ADD. Drug company propaganda and doctor kickbacks make it so 10x as many people who need these drugs are on them. People have trouble paying attention in school because they have boring unstimulating teachers. It's called being bored.
If you do however have a really hard time keeping focus even on the things you enjoy in life, it may be worth it to get checked out. Just keep in mind that the drugs you will be prescribed are very strong and will change the person you are.
