Question: And I don't mean death, loss of family, etc. I mean irrational fears.
I'm afraid to walk by mirrors in the dark and would never LOOK into one in the dark... I have no idea why. I will turn on every light around if I have to walk by a mirror at night. lol

I won't look at mirrors when it's dark either! I keep thinking of that childhood "Bloody Mary" game and freak out.
Other ones: That my boyfriend will leave/doesn't love me (even though there is NOT evidence of that)...that I was abused as a child (random!)...

walking around the house without a light, fear of hitting my shins on the goddamn coffee table, **** hurts. lol
Lol...i cant vaccuum w/o someone in the room with me and all the lights in the house on...idk its something about not being able to hear or the loud noise idk...its really weird...lol
i don't know if it is irrational, but i am terrified of lightning. i won't use the phone or turn on any water if it is lightning outside. when my daughter was about a year old she was terrified of shaving cream.

OMG i have the same fear as you!! lol...i thought i was the only one..also i can not stand to walk by a window with the blinds open at night..i feel really uncomfortable..and when i close them i look away..im scared to look out for some reason heh
I don't have one that i can not handle. I mean i use to be scared of heights, but i had to question myself time and time again, what allowed me to be scared of heights when i use to climb walls, mountains, ab-sailing etc; strangely enough i realise that because i have not been active like i was in the past. My body became lethargic followed by anxiety. So i force myself over one of the tallest bridge in Spain which was scary, but kept myself occupied by talking to myself. Fanstastic!
I'm afraid of chickens and baby chicks, which is crazy cause I live in Puerto Rico and you see them every where. Sometimes in the morning when I'm of to work they get in my yard and walk around and I have to call a neighbor or my brother who lives near by to make them go away so that I can come out. Last time this happened was about 2 weeks and my stupid brother was upset at me for calling him so he decided to pick up a chicken and run after me with it. Funny thing is that I love fried chicken.
Whenever I leave a place, I'm often afraid that I might have left something behind.
