insomnia is very common so not to panic. it can be temporary - due to worries at school, etc. or long term. there are lots of things you can do. here's an article that talks about natural ways to help yourself go to sleep.

Just Relax and try to clear your mind when you sleep. I usually read before I go to bed, it really helps.

Spend less time on the computer during the day. It makes a huge difference.

Is there something on your mind triggering you from sleeping? Stress going on in your life?

How long have you been like this?

It may be a sleeping disorder if it has been going on for a long time. There are meds. out there for sleeping disorders.

But watch out, there are some not so great one's out there. If you think you have a sleeping disorder maybe you should talk to a psychiatrist.

Is there a lot on your mind?
Is there a lot of stress in your life right now?

just relax, clear your mind, and try listening to some calming music or something that makes you happy.

Stretching relaxes the muscles and i think it relieves stress so try that right before bed.
Also drinking a glass of milk helps me. I feel more comfortable lying in bed with something soothing in my stomach.
So, don't eat a bag of spicy chips. That wouldn't be so relaxing before bed.

And if this doesn't help, maybe ask a doctor or your parents.
They can help more.

good luck.
sweet dreams.

See insomnia treatments, in section 3, at *ezy-build, below. Use one of the relaxation methods, in bed, after lights out, on pages 2, 11, 2.c, or 2.i, but they can take some time to learn, (progressive muscular relaxation excepted) so learn and become proficient in their use during the day; an alternative is to use the EFT, in section 53, and pages 2.q, and 2.o, saying to yourself: "Even though I currently have a sleep disorder, I deeply and completely accept myself." (or choose your own wording) while you use the acupressure tapping technique. Find out which works best for you, in the daylight hours, so you will be prepared, come bedtime. For many people, a good idea is to develop a set "wind down" routine for the last hour before bedtime, so your unconscious mind learns that it is time to put thinking aside, and prepare for mindfulness, (awareness, without cogitation/purposeful thought) or the EFT, in preparation for sleep, but the idea here is to not even think about sleeping: just drift off, naturally. * http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris

I have the same problem.
Im 13 almost 14,
I find it difficult to sleep at night aswell.

The problem i have is that i think to much before i go to sleep.

Try maybe listening to soft music,
relax, try not to think that much.
Maybe even try reading or watching tv in bed.
Or Do alot of things during the day which will most likely ware u out and make u sleepy by the time its time to go to bed.

Hope i helped a little
