What else can I do for my depression and social anxiety?!


Question: Okay, i have social anxiety and depression. I've taken medication but stopped taking them a couple of months ago cuz i felt it didn't help me at all. Im in therapy right now but not even that is helping me. all we do is talk, which i really dont care wat is said.

i feel really bad cuz i dont want to be like this forever..........
wat can i do????

i have depression also.......
it took all of my friends and most of my family to finally get me to go to therapy.........
just remember that you are loved by a lot of people.........

Diet changes, look into hormones? support groups even? reasearch..that helps me some

I would go back to taking meds. If you think the meds weren't helping or if they had too many side effects, then you should talk with your Psychiatrist about new meds.

Emily - I'm sorry you're feeling so bad. Also, I'm sorry that your therapy isn't helping. Talk therapy usually works well for depression because depression is usually caused by blocked emotions (sort of like emotional constipation). Talking helps you to release the blocked emotions and move forward. But, the downside of talk therapy is IT TAKES SO LONG before you begin to see any results.

Please know, Emotions are just ENERGIES IN MOTION in our bodies. Every time you don't allow yourself or you aren't allowed to fully experience an emotion, to feel it, and to move through it, the energy of that emotion becomes stopped and blocked in your body. It remains blocked until you go back and re-experience that emotion. Then the energetic block is freed and cleared. Virtually all of our physical ailments come from energetic blocks in our bodies, energetic patterns that are connected to our emotional patterns

I learned EFT last year and now use it for everything. Just doing EFT for 15 minutes can make a huge difference in my day. If you would commit yourself to using EFT for just 15 minutes a day you would see/feel a huge difference in yourself.
