Find a trusted friend or counselor who you can talk too without being judged. Take anger management classes. Go jogging and or some type activity to release stress. Anger can damage your mind, your body causing ulcers or tightness of the chest from the stress which I have experienced. We all have these emotions; you are not alone. It is how we deal with the emotions. I recently heard on the radio that anger is a gift from God. God blessed us with all the emotions that we experience; it is how we let the emotions affect us that makes us or breaks us. Hang in there! God Bless!

A good professional therapist can help with anger issues. By the way anger is a human emotion. Neither good or bad. It just is. If you want relief do what is called anger work with a therapist who know what anger work is. You find out by asking.

It depends on the situation

Anger is bad for you mentally, it affects your physical well-being just like stress, worries & pressure does. Bottlling it up makes it worse, like a volcano under pressure ready to burst. You will find yourself lash out & go destructive very suddenly because of the penned up anger within.

The best thing it to unload the feeling of hurt by making it known to the person who offended you. You may get an apology, acknowledge or total rejection, but it doesn't matter coz the most important is you have done your part unloading that hurt away from you. If meeting or contacting the person is not possible, write out an IOU of all the hurts in writing & symbolically cancelled or tear up the debt that was owning you. Also if you were in the wrong, tell them you are sincerely sorry & get that load off you. The ball in on their court now, it up to them to choose how they want to respond.

its very bad to internalize anger most deffinatly, because then it turns into rage.
