Cleaning obsessed?!

Question: Okay heres the problem. I cant figure out whether this is anxiety or an obsession. My job in the house is to clean the kitchen and vacccum. But once I clean the one area of the house I feel like I need to straighten every area that I use in the house the most [[ ex: living room, kitchen, my room, computer area]]....It happens most often at night and I really hate it. People tell me its a good thing, and yeah it is when the house is messy, but sometimes the house is clean and i feel like I have to clean!! Does anyone else feel the same way? And if so how do you stop it?

Well I know how you feel and it's ironic for the fact that most people do this at night and are compulsive to clean even when things are organized and well. It may be that you have inner stress that relieves itself by you cleaning, especially at night when you are suppose to be in bed, you can't quiet sleep and you need to keep busy to forget about such stress. It may also be that you have a mild form of Obsessive Compulsiveness....but I believe its a form of stress release. Think for a second and see what has you worried...

I get in those moods too!
I think its because if I don't do it no one else is going to do it, kind of attitude and it keeps your mind off other things while you're cleaning.
The best way to stopis honestly, just to breathe and relax. Sit around in your pajamas and watch TV there's no reason for you to be cleaning at night after work/school ETC.
Then start again tomorrow but try to limit yourself from doing it, and ask other people to do it.
Hopefully it helps.
