Borderline Personality Project ideas?!
Question: I am doing a presentation on BPD and I was looking for ideas on how to be interactive while tying in the facts of BPD. If anyone has ideas for some sort of visual or edible models as well that would help. Thanks!

The only thing i can think of is a black and white cookie. You know the kind that are half chocolate and half vanilla. It would represent the extreme "black and white" thinking in BPD. Also if you passed the cookies out before or at the beginning of the presentation it would give everyone something to munch on while you are talking.
what kind of presentation
After outlining symptoms I might focus on treatment using dialectical behavior therapy. I would perhaps hand out dbt sheets to those in audience and show process for training.

You could act out a skit with different charcters all in one cuz thats what it feels like to have it with the rapid mood changes and all. Or you could get a color wheel and label all the different feelings someone with BPD has in one day it would probably shock anyone. Then the whole pie could represent the whole being cuz just because I'm now labeled a freak doesn't mean thats all I am.
You could invite my ex-wife in and ask her questions.
Then you could show the audience BPD in action.
Or you could have her cook something, and when no one can eat it, or dares to eat it, she can throw it on the floor and let some of her 14 dogs eat it.
Sorry for being silly at the expense of such a disturbing and heart breaking condition.
