Do all the crying you need. Sometimes people want to protect you from their depression so that you wont be hurt. I sure this is what he was trying to. If you are religious pray that his is a better place. If your sadness turns to depression please go see a doctor. You and your friend will be in my prayers.

GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. Dont take it personally please. Sometimes the signs are just too deep and no one really wants to believe that something like this could happen. god Bless you.

Im so sorry for your loss. This might be hard for you to understand right now, but you did nothing wrong, and it wasnt ever your fault. people come and go in life,....this past summer three of my classmates died in a car accident. its been so hard to live with. death is a hard thing, but somehow people are able to move on. you'll be okay day by day things will get better.

Sorry for your loss. You were not ignorant maybe he just kept it to him self and did not want to talk about it. If he told you what was wrong you may have got in the way with his plan. Which you would. Who whouldent?
Sorry for your loss and its not your fault. I tried to kill my self before and for a person to do such a thing. There is a lot of emotional pain involved. So at least he is no longer suffering from what was bothering him if you want to look at bright side to it.
Once again sorry.

Big hugs!!!! Please don't blame yourself. That is the pity of suicide - those left living go into a self blame time. Its natural for everyone close to the person to do that. But it was your friends choice and it is not your responsibility to know the signs or change someone else life.

I don't know if this helps but recently I was in a psych ward and a lady in her thirties was admitted for a suicide attempt. After a week in the ward, with all the support and lots of us talking to her, she was found in the grounds hanging from a tree. So even with people around and knowing she still took her life. If someone is serious enough they will do it no matter what.

So what now? Hang onto any special memories you have of your friend. Celebrate the life they had - no matter how short - and know that they wanted freedom for their own personal reasons that no one will be able to understand and no one has to understand.

Take care and don't be afraid to get grief counselling.

i am so sorry, my friend just lost her parents last week in a fire, both parents and she's now an orphan, i feel you pain!
but be strong! that person wants you to be happy!

When someone takes their life, they do not always leave "signs" for their friends and love ones to find. You will feel bad for a while at the loss of this friend, but know that if you didn't see any "signs", then he didn't want you to see them.

It is normal for your to feel very bad at the loss of your friend, but please don't feel like you were blind or ignorant. It may help you to talk to a greif counselor to learn more about suicide, what you are feeling is normal for someone who has been through what you have been through.

I don't know your situation, and neither do the other people on here. There is nothing I or you can do to bring your friend back. The first step is accepting this. Once you do that you can realize it was not your fault and that he is in a better place. Pray, sleep, confide in a close friend, go for a walk at the park to clear your mind. Don't dwell on negative thoughts honey. Good Luck.

No, it
