Is there a problem with being narcissistic or why is it called personality disor!

Personality tests are different from clinical assessment tests. I suspect that the test you took said that you have a Narcissistic Personality, rather than Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
As funny as this may sound, we all have mental disorder symptoms. Some people go out of their ways to look good, others count the trees on the street, double check if the door is locked, ask their partners where they've been, and this doesn't mean they are mentally ill.
In order to be diagnosed with a disorder, you need to have a certain number of symptoms. Furthermore, disorders interfere with our capacity to function normally, have healthy relationships, affect our performance at work or school and so on. From what you describe it's just the "wanting to look good" symptom that gave you a high score in the Narcissistic section of the test.
There are obsessive-compulsive personalities and obsessive-compulsive disorder, depressive personalities and depressive disorder, narcissistic personalities and narcissistic disorder.
You're not ill.
Caring about how you look is normal. The diagnosis of NPD is for folks who are overly concerned about how they look. Perhaps a second opinion is warranted. What do people who know you well think?
