Question: last week i dreamt of somebody dying.so in my dream i went went to their funeral and suddenly started crying alot.
that morning my mom urges me to wake up.she was in tears. i asked her why she told me that my beloved cousin had passed away.i nearly fell off the bed when i heard this.
ok.what just happened is something i still couldnt figure out.
plz help me out.

the mind works in mysterious ways. sometimes your dreams tell the future(sounds kinda farytail-ish..right). its a time when your mind and soul are free of stress and just relax. when i was in 5th grade i dreamt of being my classroom and going over multiplication tables and later that day when i went to school we did multiplication tables. if my answer didn't help much go to this link:

sometimes these things happen. like premonitions. its happened to me and my friend renee. dont worry about it. it doesnt make you a freak or anything. it was just a bit psychic-style.
it is quite possible you sense her passing in your dream.
often the closest ones feel when something has happened.
I beieve in the spirit world and how we are all connected if we just become aware of the connections and quiet down to feel them.
I am so sorry for your loss, it must have been a terrible dream and then see it come true must have been that much more shocking

You had a precognizant dream. I have had them often, especially about family members who are about to die or have died. Do not freak out about it. You are probably just sensitive.

it is just a coincidence unless you have had that same dream more than once. If you have a dream repeatedly, then you should pay attention because it has something to do with your waking life. If you just had the dream once, it is only a coincidence. Sometimes, though time seems to go only one direction, we can percieve flashes of other times. (Like Deja Vu) Maybe that is what happened.
You're psychic! Ok, now seriously. I've had something like this happen to me before. Your subconscious probably picked up on your mom's telephone call concerning the death of your cousin and thus interpreted into dream. (Meaning you actually heard her conversation) Remember that what seems like hours in a dream may only be a few seconds in actuality.

You know what? This has happened to me numerous times. At first I thought it was just a freak thing, but it has happened SO many times to me. Happened the first time when I was 14 years old. Sadly enough, death isnt the only thing I have dreamed about and then it happened. I have dreamed about car accidents, sickness, and others. And they happened. Only seems to be the REALLY bad things that happen though. I have never been able to get any explanation for this. I thought I was crazy for the longest time. Now when I wake up after a dream like that, I just brace myself and wait really.
