Is the child of an undiagnosed narcissist in real danger?!
Question: By narcissist I mean someone with narcissistic personality disorder. The two children here are aged 18 and 10, both girls, and apparently the older one took an overdose at the weekend, and that is according to the mother, the narcissist. However she tells such enormous lies it is hard to believe a word she says. I have real fears for the safety of these two girls. Any advice here would be very greatly appreciated.

Narcissists are a danger to everyone around them, because a narcissist doesn't care about anyone else and has real trouble sustaining any kind of relationship that is not one-sided in their favor. Narcissists are also unstable in many ways. An 18 year old is basically an adult, so the parent does not have real custody of the 18 year old at this point. It's possible the 18 year old has mental health problems of her own. If you have concerns backed by substantial evidence, you could consider talking to the local child protection authorities about the 10 year old.

Children are in severe danger each time psychiatrist is around. There are serious chances that normal child behavior will be immediately "recognized" as one of the nonsense diagnoses and child will be out on mind altering drugs. More about it read on www.cchr.org
