Sometimes our dreams can be quite vivid especially for those that we have towards the last stage of our sleep cycle (REM sleep, rapid-eye-movement sleep). One possible explanation that I have is that our bodies might be affected by our immediate environment, e.g. you might feel water (moisture) on your arms and legs due to the humid air in the room, and these feelings might sometimes be "incooperated" into our dreams, which makes you dream of swimming, a bit exaggerating, but that's how our dreams work sometimes, by extending our emotions, feelings, things that we heard, saw, touched when we're awake, our when we're in our subconscious (asleep) into similar forms in our dreams. When you hit someone in your dream, you might have just touched something in reality, hand brushed a wall perhaps? hand rested against your lips maybe, which might make you associate with kissing someone in your dream?

One way to understand this phenomenom better, if you do wake up from one of these dreams, wake up gradually. This meaning let your eyes remain closed even though your brain is awake, then after a moment or two, slowly open your eyes, all the while DO NOT move your body. Now that your eyes are opened, look at your position on the bed. Is there anything that might have made you dream what you dreamt?

The mind is a powerful thing!

Its called an out-of-body experience. While your sleeping your spirit wanders!

looool because you were dreaming about it

i know exactly how you feel. but i don't have a clue as to what is happening to you.

well, your brain controls the whole body. aswell as ur nervous system. so if your mind is makeing u dream like ur swimming it can make the nerves feel like your swiming.

Got the idea?

hope this helped!

When you sleep parts of your brain are excited in unusual ways. Your brain still tries to interpret these signals resulting in fake sensations (ie sight, sound, feeling, etc.).

It is due to your sub-consious mind.Whatever you see and whatever you think, feel everything registers in your sub-consious mind.Due to this reason you may get some nightmares in your dream. It may be positive or negative. It depends upon your thoughts.
You may wch a movie. You may be impressed by a particular scene. It registers in your mind which is in sub consious state. You may forget it after sometimes. But it may not go out of your S-C mind. When you are in deep sleep you may have the same feel as if u are doing such things.
There is nothing to worry about this ,if it is under limits. You can do yoga if you think to get rid of this prob.Instead dnt take any sleeping pills or etc.
