I'm gaining weight in my tummy??!

Question: Has anyone else recovering from an eating disorder noticed they gain weight in their belly first? I am getting over anorexia and I'm noticing I now have a little tummy while the rest of my body is still skinny. Why is this happening?!?

i know that it is where, as a woman, i store bodyfat which contributes to my hormones' levels. our bodies do whatever is needed to recover [from the damage of disordered body upkeep.] our bodies will do a better job if we continue on the road of taking the best care of them as we are able. first thing is to get into the most healthy behaviors, and let some things take time, [and form/'shape'], and continue to recover to our best while our body does the same.
please don't take this like preaching. i need support to continue to be in recovery and just knowing facts like this, which gives me understanding of this life situation, helps me and i hope it helps you, too.
i have heard that our hormones regulate many body functions and therefore when you or i are gaining weight on our tummys, we are really beginning to go to a state where our bodies can do a better job, because it has to have this supply, this storage area, created JUST FOR US!
it is all so tied together!

Don't worry, keep going! Eventually you will start to fill out in other places, if you are getting enough proteine then maybe you could help the reast of your body by trying to build muscle... Go easy because your bones might still be weak.

After dumping and starving your body has gone into long term storage mode... this too shall pass, just take up Ti-Bo to defend yourself from all those new boyfriends who'll be pawing you now that you actually look healthy!
