Do people that stay indoors too much get symptoms of SAD?!

Question: I know that people get SAD....Seasonal Affective Disorder in the winter months because of the natural light shortages but does this also have a depressive affect on people who simply don't get outside enough?

Yes, because sun is one of the main ways our bodies have to release serration the feel good chemical in our brain. We also need vitamin D so that our bodies use calcium effectively and we get vitamin D from the sun. We need the sun more than we realize. Our body needs at least 15 minutes of direct sun light a day to combat SAD and to help our body deal a lot of other issues. A lack of sun light can cause a myriad of problems SAD being just one of them.
