I agree, yes, it really does help seasonal affectation disorder

the UV produces dopamines that , well, feel really good and last a long time-
it is the reason why some folks get hooked on tanning and "baking" at the beach-

skin cancer danger? in my opinion, it's an overblown concern- however, some people may be more susceptible that others, I think, for instance, smokers, and those taking various meds and supplements, like St Johns Wort- probably shouldn't be tanning-

some people have a hearty complexion, and very healthy types who eat healthy foods and exercise frequently -

Consider, also is your skin prepared? Do you take Vitamin D, E, Omega III, and carotenes, MSM, balanced vitamins, skin hair and nail vitamins, spirulina is good too, drink strong berry juice (not the sugary grocery store stuff) ?

do you have lots of moles freckles or "rashiness" reddened areas in your skin- then you might want to get less "hot" rays

do you burn easily?

I don't let myself 'roast' under the UV, short small doses are more effective for me-

humans beings have been walking around in the sunshine for a million years (or whatever) the sun hasn't wiped us out yet,

but just be safe about it

I think that tanning is a poor treatment for sufferers of SAD. Even if it has the right rays to mimic natural sunlight, tanning too much can cause skin cancer, just as being out in the sun can.
I would suggest safer alternative source of UV rays!

I think tanning beds could be somewhat beneficial to SAD sufferers. Think about how good you feeel when you get out of the tanning beds!!!!

yes deffinitaly! im not sure on how many times but go like once a week, try that but it does help alot.. good luck..
