No matter what i do i just cant get to sleep till gone 2 in the morning what can!


Question: i am at school year 9 and doing some of my GCSEs early so i need all the sleep i can get but just cant get to sleep, it mite be that i am to distracted, what can i do to solve this problem?

try to get to bed early. and then just lie there. if you still cant sleep try writing in your journal. avoid the television and computer, they stimulate the brain. don't have caffeine after lunchtime and try to exercise during the day to make your body more tired. you could try setting your alarm early and making yourself get up at that time untill you start going to bed earlier. at first, you'll probably be exhausted but eventaully you'll sleep like a baby! melatonin is a natural supplement that helps a lot of people sleep. ( it is sold at most pharmacy's and grocery stores)

Lay off any caffeine- coffee, chocolate, tea. If you exercise, do it at least 3 or 4 hours before bed. A warm bath or shower before bed, chamomile tea or warm milk an hour before bed, try not to stress about things. Good luck.

ammm... do u feel anxious??? if might be an anxiety thing!!! but it can also be insomnia!!!! this conditions are very treatable, i have insomnia because i have anxiety!!! just check it out with a doctor he can refer u to other sources too!!! best of luck dude!!!!
