Stress is killing me. 20 year old male. Help?!

Question: I have been under alot of stress and have been have health problems. I have nausea, feel off balance, and notice one of my pupils were bigger than the other(only at night). They are normal most of the time and react to light. Can stress do this? I feel off balance to the left and it worse in the moring. From the time I wake up the only thing I worry about is my health. With balance I have never fallen and I can stand on one foot with both leges so I dont no if its just me. Can chronic anxiety cause this. I dont have bad headaches, but I do get them. Please anyone who has gone thro this. I always think the worst like tumors, but family and docs so no.

Hey- Sounds like your dealing with alot, and easy for people to say to just stop stressing, but easier said than done. First things first, if you checked things like blood pressure, and as you mentioned tumors, and all the main health biggies, then your probably just struggling with the effects of anxiety from stress. I'm not a Dr. but I am a result of high stress throughout my life...and stress CAN and WILL do some pretty nasty stuff to ya. It would be good to learn some relaxing techniqes, but along with that you may need an outlet for some of your pent up anxieties to bring down the levels. (I do kickboxing with a bag and boxing gloves, it helps me)...and also just some simple calm breathing techniques. Breath in through your nose deeply while sitting and head back, release the breath slowly out your mouth...do this three times and while doing that feel your body relax starting from your scalp to your toes...tighten up and slowly release the tightness. Also, please remember whatever is going on in your life that is causing your stress...if its things you can change...than change them, if its things you cannot change, which is sometimes the case, try very hard to understand when we cannot change things we need toyou have to just somehow mentally let them go so far as we are concerned. Delve into some productive goals and focus on striveing to be where you would like to be as a person. If you fill your mind with the positives...you crowd out the negatives "evicting" them of a place to settle and make themselves at home. I wish you peace and I wish you well. Hope I've helped in some small way. Take care.

See stress treatments, at *ezy-build, below on page 42. Practise daily, one of the relaxation techniques on pages 2, 11, 2c, or 2i; whichever works best for you, but the mindfulness breathing for 15 - 20 mns is ideal, although the progressive muscle relaxation can be learned quickly, and takes only several minutes, if pressed for time. Employ the EFT version for use in public, for which you can reasonably claim that you have a headache, as you massage/tap your temples. Section 53, and pages 2, 2.q and 2.o refer. "Even though I sometimes suffer from stress, I deeply and completely accept myself". You can also multitask, using the gazing technique, as you walk/jog or exercise, by focusing on a distant object, noting any thoughts which flash across your mind, without pursuing any particular train of thought, just gently redirect your focus to the gazing. Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily, replacing 2 of them with cod liver oil supplements, or a teaspoonful of the oil (I spread mine on toast, and mask its strong taste with fishpaste, and pepper), in the winter months only, and eat healthily, in accordance with your "nutritional type" as determined at http://www.mercola.com/ SEARCHBAR. * http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris

You need to find a new life away from whatever is stressing you - remove the stress and you'll feel better. Also stop worrying about yourself - for example there is no point worrying about your health if all it does to you is give you a miserable life.
Long term stress can be damaging to both physical and mental health. There are theories it can trigger terminal diseases such as cancer but these are unproven and even if they are correct they wont apply to all.

No that isn't stress, but you do need a routine physical. instead of stressing over what might be.. get the doctor appointment today! Then you will have real knowledge to work with and that does cause less stress in your life.

You are hearing the standard answers for society aren't you? Like you have to have good friends who support you. And you must leave the guilt at the door. Well bells the whole thing is caused by friends and family. The stress/depression chemicals produced when your brain deals with falsehoods in your belief system go to the primitive brain and cause hell. All the automatic responses can be changed chemically. You mentioned a few. Most of us get a slow heart beat and slow breathing and we panic. Your symptoms will disappear soon when you stay away from F and F and start over. You will have to study mental health now where ever you can find it written in truth.
