a lot of folks get caught in a monotonous way of life and get bored quickly, it's for this reason i think a lot of marriages tend to end. for me i tend not to go seeking excitement because more often then not i find it and it turns out to be a double-edged sword, i can handle a little boring these days as long things don't blow up in my face of course if i go too long without a conflict of sorts i tend to get a little paranoid

A hobby is a good start. Find something that you enjoy and put your creativity to work.

I've stayed pretty entertained by life by not worrying about generic things like houses and life-long jobs. Those things take away your freedom; they don't add to it. You should try getting a short-term job in a foreign country, then do the same in another country! Having to learn a new language and making friends from diverse corners of the globe has definitely made my life more interesting.

I always try to do things I always made excuses not to do. Whether it was going someplace or doing something i feared, I learned theres soo much to do and very little time to do it. I have met tons of interesting people doing this, and usually the excitement overtook my fears. Just think outside the box.

You have pretty well stated it...there really isn't much more to life than that...sorry to say.

Yes, young adults go out and party, get drunk, have sex, some do illegal drugs etc. thinking they are having fun but it is actually only a diversion for boredom. Some turn to marriage and children thinking this will make them happy but often soon learn this is only a highlight in life. Most women soon return to work and stuff their babies and children into daycare centers. Then divorce because their husbands "cheat" or the wife does. Some turn to religion only to find in the long run this is not satisfying either because of all the "rules and regulations" religion places on them.

So in the scheme of things, I really don't have a suggestion except to work and make the best of it you can. I am not trying to be negative here...but just stating the facts as I see them...truthfully.
