Of old age, in your sleep on a warm dry bed. This question troubles me. Why are you wondering? Are you depressed? I hope you aren't asking how to commit a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Remember, nothing is forever. Not pain, not sadness, nothing. If you find yourself in a bad place, wait. It will get better.

I've chosen my two favorite ways to die.
1. eaten by a hippo. i want to be known for my death, and when people go around talking about me after I die, I want people to say something like "wasn't she the girl that was eaten by a hippo?" I don't know, I guess I just want to be remembered.
2. killed by a hit in the head by a champagne cork. after I saw my mom get drunk a couple of years ago at a Christmas party, I swore that I would never take a sip of alcohol, and the one time I do, I want it to kill me, so that I didn't go back on my promise.
The best way to die is in your sleep when you are old and you'v finished your mission here on earth.
So why do you want to die well before the natural way?
Have you finished your purpose and mission in this world? You cannot be doing the right thing by thinking of doing yourself in. Think again. There is still alot for you to do. Go find your purpose in this life and fulfill it.

Best for whom? You or other people?
For other people, the best way for you to die is slowly over 80 years or so having worked hard to enagage and fill others with trust and love and meaning.
For you, well it depends on who you are.
I particularly am attracted to a slow horrendously painful and somewhat erotic death by being eaten alive by sexy cannibal women. They feed me myself as my head is cooled while the rest of me is slowly cooked. I won't go into the more lurid details.
I am quite aware that is never going to happen, and honestly I can live with that. It's just a fantasy.
But really the best way to die on a literal level, that's hard to appreciate. Since your going to be gone forever after that, maybe a great painful way. Of course we don't like pain that much so some kind of overdose might be the best.
Perhaps a surprise would be the best, not knowing and then bam! dead.
Yeah, then its like a treat.

There is no "Best" way to die. When someone leaves this place there is always pain because there is always someone left behind be it family or friends who loves you and will miss you. So no matter if you are asking if there is a best way to phisically die it will always leave psychological scars on someone no matter how you go.
