Start making lists of things you need to do, then cross them off one by one. Even if it's only two things, write them down.

If you're having a hard time focusing, though, you may be under a lot of stress, so cope with that by doing the hard work first, then the easy stuff will be, well, easy!

Make a priority list and stick to it. If the chores have to take backseat to studying, approach your mom about it and negotiate with her so you aren't constantly distracted by stuff you have to do (and her yelling). Get some sleep. If you stay up too late trying to do everything, you'll burn out and get nothing done.

They say one at a time. I would start with a small one first to get back in focus.

Get the chores done then you can focus on your homework without worrying so much.
I am assuming your chores are like taking out the garbage, doing dishes, cleaning your room, straightening the house, doing some laundry and assorted other housework to help out your folks. You might want to talk to Mom about doing some stuff on different days that way you don't 'have to do all 20 on one day. Your homework should be your priority and you and Mom and have to agree on that in order for you to get good grades.

this has to be the biggest challenge with living with a mental illness. All I can say is take on one project at a time. If you can't finish move on, and later working on it when your not preoccupied with something more pressing at that moment.

edit: Someone said, make a list, I think thats a very good Idea for a couple of reason. One, it lets your mind be more at ease subconsciously nowing that its on paper when you need it and this frees up space in your mind.
Two, You can prioritize you tasks.
However your ability to concentrate is an ill effect that needs to be manage it self. good luck

Think of the consequences of you doing these chores and your homework. The outcomes are all positive. It's unfair that we get so much homework and responsibility piled on top of us, but there is no easy way of changing that. Once you've got on top of everything, make sure you stay on top.
