I am not tired.?!


Question: For the past 4 days I have not been able to fall asleep easily, but once I am asleep I sleep shallow, but dont like to wake up. My cat moveing around my room wakes me up but i just go back to sleep unless it is something like my sister digging in my drawers. Other then that I dont wake up.

But as of falling asleep I dont feel tired I just wanna get out of my bed and do something, anything. So I am tonight trying to put my energy to doing homework which i am doing atm. But i seem not to be tired at all tried everything. Melatonin which is supposed to help you fall asleep. Also have tried warm milk

Btw, I just quit playing World of warcraft to improve my life and grades. today but have been playing less and less of it over the past 4 days. I dont know if it a conidence.

It could be withdrawl? I know when I've been playing a game for days on end, it's real hard to go to sleep. Your sleep patterns may be screwed up at the mo.
What I try to do is go to bed at a 'normal' time, then just lay there. If my mind is thinking about too much, as it does a fair bit, just try to block that out and think of breathing. If the sound of breathing doesn't make you stop thinking of things, think of the words 'in' 'out' to think over that stuff, then when you're calm just listen to breathing. I know it sounds boring, but you might just need to make a sleep pattern. Unfortunately it might take 4 nights to a week to make a habit.

Try washing your face by warm or cold water and wash your eyes too. Do not dring milk as it wont help you much. Try drinking Hot Tea this really helps you to be active.
