How to cope with ending of an important relationship?!

Question: I have my final therapy session with my therapist on Monday (forever!). I am finding it hard to understand how I would cope when I see her. This has been a very important and the closest and probably the first intimate relationship I have had. I am 22.

Realistically, my needs have been met and therapy with her is not helping me no more, so it is supposed to be easy to move on.

It is hard to know that we may NEVER EVER meet again in life :( and that makes this even so difficult for me! I know I have a lot to look forward to.

I suppose many of you have let go of relationships in life, be those therapy or personal relationships.

How do you say "good bye" and cope through such challenging time in your life?

I know it may seem hard now, but life goes on. It's not going to stop or wait for anyone. You right now are ready to start a new chapter. Ultimately a healthier happier one. Your therapist helped you through some of your toughest times and it's understandable that you are going to miss her. But who's to say that you will never run into her ever again? It's very possible that you may see her one day again. And as tough as it seems right now to leave someone who helped you through so much it will get easier day by day.
Feel better

when she looks at you..all she sees is a paycheck.....your face and problems are not important to her..she merely gets through them.
Did you know that therapists hate their job so much that they are among the greatest number of suicides per year.
It's a depressing job to listen to problems all the time.
You are graduating..good for you....now get out and make space for someone else with money.....Sorry son....that is the truth.
