Am i strange for having fetishes?!
Question: okey so i ahve recently been trying to be open with myself and i feel that i need some help , i have had a latex glove fetish ever since i was 2 years old and my family has made fun of me for it for years !!!, i also have a sock and foot fetish and a very big medical fetish which goes along with the latex glove fetish , i have told my girlfriend but she just ignores it but she likes to tease me by sometimes using my fetishes against me !!!!, i know that haveing fetishes is normal but sometimes i feel like a freak for what i like so i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how a can accept myself better or how to be more open about these things

We all have things that were, for some reason or another, sexualised as children!
It doesn't matter what it is unless you say it does. The ONLY acceptance you need is your own. Steer clear of any labels they do not and will never define who you are.
You are who you say you are and you get to define that moment to moment changing it when and if you wish. You do not have to justify yourself or anything that gives you pleasure to anyone.
If it feels good and doesn't harm you or others - do, be and have anything you wish.
What helped me once was when someone described all your feelings (good and bad) as your children and that you need to accept them all with love and let them know they are all welcome within you (which lessens the guilt/resistance within you).
The being more 'open' about it will come of its own accord when your acceptance of yourself falls into place (we are all working on this by the way! Every day in every way - so you are not on your own there).

It's easier just to understand that everyone is different, in every way. So don't start trying to understand it and just accept this part of you. You're not doing anything to hurt anyone else so where's the harm?

No it's not strange or freakish - it's not normal (of the norm) but it's not strange or freakish. Each to his or her own - you would be surprised what other fetishes other people have I'm sure. And although I don't have your interest myself, I do recommend you find a girlfriend who does or at least doesn't make fun of you for it. You will find in the long run that you will be much happier and fullfilled for it.
Something that happened 2 u in childhood could have had an (effect) on u 'subconsciously', it manifests itself later on in life!...
It is actually healthier that you have recigniozed and admitted to your fetishes, then then to fight them and hide them. There is nothing wrong with getting sexual excitment out of anything in life, as long as no one gets hurt by it.
No, you are not weird - there are a lot of weirder (and frankly more dangerous) things to be into.
The only issue you sound to have is a girlfriend who does not understand you and is not into the same thing. Now this COULD end up being a real problem or it could just be a bit of an annoyance and nothing more.
