Is it a sign of aging?!

Question: When old memories start spontaneously popping into your head. I just turned 42, and I've noticed for the past few months things I haven't thought about since I was a kid just suddenly manifesting in my mind unbidden. Old toys, TV shows, people I knew, etc. Kinda scary, though one often finds comfort in old memories, I guess...

It's a sign of nostalgia. I'm 50 and it's just part of life. Nothing to be ashamed or sad about. When you're younger all you think about is the present and the future. As you age, the past takes up some of your thoughts. But that's a cheap way to reflect back on your life and think about how you can do things better than when you didn't know any better. It's also a way to appreciate things you once took for granted.

I think so, just turned 44 do the same also don't see as well lol

I think that's supposed to start happening in your 70's and 80's.

I just turned 40. Jeez, I hope that's not right around the corner. Do you take spontaneous naps too?

This is a game of your subconsious mind. Subconsius mind has log of everything and it keeps throwing something to your mind often. Some times it results in DEJA VU and remote viewing so on. This just a normal thing that has happened and it keeps happening to me as i am still young.

I'm only 13 and I have the same thing. Probably not.

Perfectly natural. You think about getting older, and you automatically start remembering things from the past.

I think it's normal. I'm 63. I notice as I age that I remember and appreciate many things from my past. Some I just remember and wish they had been different. I've noticed as I get older and look back on my life, sometimes I wish I had been more tolerant.
