Yeah, sometimes it sounds differently. Back in the 70s I remember being in the car and complaining to my Mom that the radio station needed to change the belts on the record player cause the tempo was slightly off. She LISTENED and then LOOKED at me. Sounded fine to her. But I KNEW the beat was just a tiny bit slow. It set me on edge.
I've decided that when the music sounds slightly off that means I'm slightly out of sync with the rest of the world. And I go reaching for the meds....
You are the FIRST person that I have ever heard mention this phenomenon.
